Mumbai, March 08, 2016: Tata Sky, pioneer of innovative services in the DTH industry, has added a new service to its diverse bouquet of content named Tata Sky Comedy. This would be the first ever interactive service on DTH in India that provides a single destination for all formats of Hindi comedy content.

 

The service was launched today by Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Sky, along with Hiren Gada, ‎Director, Shemaroo Entertainment the content partner for the service. The launch event provided a glimpse of the service, unfolded by stand-up comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sahil Khattar, who are also a part of the service.  

 

Tata Sky Comedy offers original content created especially for this service along with the best of classic comedy TV shows like Nukkad, Ye Jo Hai Zindagi, Office Office and Zabaan Sambhalke. Every format of comedy content is being made available through this service – from filmy spoofs to fun movie reviews, from gags & pranks to faking news shows – Tata Sky subscribers will now have access to comedy content at their fingertips.

 

The service is packed with rib-tickling content that is refreshed daily and plays 24X7, ad free. Tata Sky has partnered with Comedywalas, a unit of Shemaroo Entertainment for exclusive and new content such as Bollywood Tadka and Comedy Fatafat. The interactive section of the service features Jokes, Fun Quizzes like Dialogue baazi (based on dialogues from Bollywood movies) and a popular comic strip Suppandi, all of which is refreshed daily.

There are acts made exclusively with Sugandha Mishra and Nikhil that will be aired .

 

Also answering to question whether this will be available also on You Tube , Pakkavi Puri said that shortly it will be available on Social networks too .

When question was raised about  Mimicking Celebrities  nowadays have become risky , answering that question Ceo of shemaroo along with Ms Puri said that our programmes are clean entertainment

Story Line :  The story revolves around a teenager  Dilsher ( Vicky Kaushal) from a small village in Punjab Gurdaspur , , who loses his father who used to sing devotional songs at gurudwara , His demise shakes him so much that he starts stammering , and loses confidence ,  amidst this he comes across his idol Gurucharan Sikand ( Manish Chaudhary )  who motivates him to create his own destiny.  Those words created  an impact that  as soon as he grows up , he decides to go to Delhi to achieve his dream of becoming  successful as Gurucharan Sikand who was a had become a big shot there , Dilsher by hook and crook  manages to  enter his abode and wins his heart , Sikand gives him special  place in his office and his home , offending his own son Surya played by Raaghav Chanana  in the process , This creates a lot of conflict between Dilsher  and  . Surya ,  Meanwhile Dilsher meets Amira (Sarah Jane Dias) , who is a friend of Surya , and Amira is a singer and performer, Amira befriends Dilsher , Amira makes dilsher realise that he does not stammer while singing and that he should become a singer and listen to his inner voice as music is the only place where his soul belongs , but amidst this realisation many twist and turns take place in dilsher'Gus life , lots of truth are revealed as to why Gurucharan Sikand had adopted him in his abode , he gets a blow of his lifetime that makes him realise where he actually  belongs , where his soul is , he listens to his inner voice , what happens next is for the audience to  watch

Performances : Vicky  Kaushal as Dilsher has given performance of lifetime , proving his acting skill yet again post his debut in masaan  whether his stammering , his expressions , his vulnerability are all shown brilliantly , he has emoted all these straits with ease . Sarah Jane Dias has also portrayed her role perfectly as a singer and performer . Vicky and Sarah's camaderies comes brilliantly on screen.
The film has beautiful Punjab touch and some great gurbani numbers that giving the authenctic flavour of Punjab , The music is by Ashu Pathak  ,  his compositions blend in perfectly with the theme , music is quite different from what we are used to seeing .

Verdict : Zubaan is an impressive piece of art due to its story  telling , though at times it do drags a bit but  overall it is pretty urban and stylish with the musical touch .. Director Mozez Singh has this unique style of story telling that keeps you glued to the screen in unveiling the past fears in te process of  discovering oneself in the present . The movie focuses on one to get out of the comfort zone and discover oneself , hear our own inner voice and follow the same .

Final Word : Watch it for inner peace

Overview :Tere Bin Laden Dead or Alive is the second instalment of critically acclaimed movie Tere Bin Laden(2010 ) . which made Ali Zafar a star but in this extention he has only special appearance that puts him in not a good light  and all the lights are taken over by Manish Paul .


Story Line : The story revolves around Manish Paul who is from Chandni Chowk who aspires to  become a Director in Bollywood rather than being a Halwai as his father . He escapes from Chandni Chowk to Mumbai to achieve his goal , in his persuit he meets Pabbi (Pradhuman Singh ) , who is is folk singer and aspires to become singer , but Manish tells him that not  his voice but his face will do wonders in Bollywood due to its similarity with Osama bin laden, thy start shooting  (read tere bin laden part 1), but whole limelight is taken away by Ali Zafar .  After that they  plan to make a sequel  minus Ali zafar . While shooting for the sequel .news  come in that Osama Bin Laden is dead at the hands of U.S.A armed forces . But  President of U.S.A  is pressured to show proof  of his death , he appoints C.I.A David (Sikender Kher ) to get proof by hook or crook , David by coincidence comes to know about Pabbi ,  David and his team reaches India with  fake identity and get up as Hollywood Director who on the pretext of making a movie on Osama bin laden and  how his death was planned  he convinces both Manish and Pabbi to accompany him to Hollywood for shooting somewhere in somewhere , on the other hand there is this terrorist group headed by Piyush Mishra who are followers of Osama and  want Osama Bin Laden alive , but on receiving the news that he is dead and also coming to know that his look alike is in Mumbai , he plans to kidnap Pabbi , from there roller coaster ride begins first Pabbi and Manish are kidnaped by Piyush and rescued by David and his team , fake shooting takes place  but real plan to kill pabbi , what happens next whether  pabbi and manish will come to know about real agenda of david , what happens to Piyush and his terrorist group is for the audience to watch .

Prformances : Manish Paul has acted well , he has expressed his comic shots perfectly , Sikander kher as David//Chaddha has fared excellently , His get up and accent both as American and Indian are very fine . Pabbi is ok , rest are fine though Piyush Mishra is wasted . 

Verdict : If you compare the original Tere Bin Laden to this , it is nowhere better than the first . This movie lacks a good script and good story , Some moments are hilarious but that does not add up to the script .Watch it only for performance by Manish Paul

Tere Bin Laden – Dead or Alive to release in UAE, USA, Canada & Australia!

 

 In a surprising move, Walkwater Media’s Tere Bin Laden – Dead or Alive, directed by Abhishek Sharma and featuring Manish Paul, Sikandar Kher and Pradhuman Singh will be releasing in UAE, USA, Canada and Australia on the same day of its India release (26^th February).

Review of the movie Aligarh

Overview : Aligarh is based on a true story of Prof Siras from Aligarh University


Story Line : The story revolves around Prof Siras who is a professor at Aligarh University , teaching Marathi and who is upgraded as Head of the foreign language department . Prof Siras stays alone in the quarters provided to him by the university . One unfortunate night prof siras is caught unawares by a journalist and a photographer, who barged in on his privacy when he was making love to some t guy who was his rickshawala , the journalist forces both of them to pose in indecent ways and clicked their photos , at that moment even some officials from the university also arrives making the prof feel embarrassed and scareda, Next day those photos become viral in all newspaper inspite of professor giving written letter of apology. As a result of that prof siras is suspended from university on the grounds of misconduct upon university campus , he is asked to empty the quarters within seven days , Amidst all this when all journalist were looking at one side of the coin that prof has been caught red handed performing homosexual activity , there is this one journalist Deepu (Rajkumar Rao ) , from Delhi he looks on the other side of the coin as to why prof siras privacy was barged in and why is he defamed , with all those questions , he goes to meet Prof Siras to write a story . During this process deepu build up a camaraderie with prof siras , and he becomes close friend with the prof by understanding prof's sensibilities and provides him with much needed comfort , as otherwise prof had become vulnerable in his loneliness and current circumstances

On the other hand Prof siras incident had stirred a rage among the LGBT community , and leading activist urge prof siras to fight for his right and file a case against Aligarh University for defaming him and suspending him . Hesitant at first as he would be tagged as Gay , but nevertheless agree to file the case  .  Vijay Grover his lawyer (Ashish Vidyarthi ) , fights for him , a whole court room drama goes on with the opposition lady lawyer , the case sees many ups and down as the k]apology letter given by Prof Siras works against him and the case goes weak , but Prof Siras then also does not give up and keeps himself cool , manoj  bajpai charishma is depicted here  ,  one can feel his pain and agony   , what  happen  next , will prof siras win or loose the case is for the audience to watch . Was all this done on purpose to harm reputation of the prof is left out for the audience .

Performances : Manoj Bajpai as Prof Siras is brilliant , He speaks through his eyes , his helplessness is portrayed by is body language . He has given the best expressions an artist can give .  No doubt that this is his best performance till date . Rajkumar Rao as Deepu is excellent , his chemistry and compatibility with the prof is shown beautifully . Director Hansal Mehta has given a masterpiece by exploring the subject of homosexuality which otherwise is considered taboo in our society. Hansal Mehta has  thrown a new light on this subject  voicing to the Indian Constitution to give respect and dignity to homosexuals too who are deprived of all this in their very own country .  From Decriminalising homosexuality to criminalising it again , India has a long way to go .

Verdict : A must watch for people with good acceptance level and wants this society to accept change , Not take homosexuality as bad but take it in good light . A brilliant piece of art by Hansal Mehta

Saregama launches Bollywood’s Dream Girl’s music album 'Dream Girl'

Mumbai, 15^th February 2016:   RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group owned music label Saregama India Ltd, India’s flagship music and entertainment  Company has launched a prestigious album Dream Girl, composed and sung by Babul Supriyo  (Minister of State for Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation) with Bollywood’s Dream Girl, Hema Malini (Member of Parliament).   A line of this track says, ‘Big B se leke Paaji’ which set the stage for her co-stars Amitabh Bachchan & Dharmendra to launch the music album. Celebrities from film and music fraternity were present to set the musical mood, as the dream girl pepped the atmosphere with her nightingale tunes. While on a political trail with Babul Supriyo last year, she spoke about her interest in singing.
