Talaash is the brainchild of Bachelor of Management studies of Jai Hind College, Mumbai. It started off as a mere treasure hunt and has evolved to be one of the most sought after management festival in Mumbai. True to its name, it has served as a path of self-discovery for the students of BMS in Jai Hind College; realising their talents and achieving their dreams. With a glorious history spanning more than a decade, this year, the 18th yearof this awaited festival was just the best ever portrayal of talent, creativity and hard work.

The festival this year spanned over the course of four days, the 2nd of December consisting of skill based management events, on the 3rd December itwitnessed an innovative Mafia themed Mumbai Treasure Hunt, on the 4th December, the venue for the events was Phoenix Market City Kurla, where the Band and the Drama event took place and the 6thDecember was the glamorous cultural day.

The Cultural Day was one of its kinds, with outstanding performances by colleges all over Mumbai. It was definitely a star-studded event. HèRMOSA Talaash had celebrities like Dino Morea, Divya Khosla Kumar, Ami Patel, Vinisha Jain (Curator – The Gentlemen’s Edition) 2016 Miss India Runners Up Pankhuri Gidwani, Mr. India International Dara Singh Khurana, Ayaz Ahmed, DJ J Man to name a few.

In accordance with this year's theme, 'Escape the Ordinary' the events were definitely an essential portrayal of unconventional. Few gems out of the exceptional array were Veni Vidi Vici, Jump Charades, Out if the Box, Russian Roulette, etc. If the names are any indication, the participant colleges sure were in for a ride.

Unfortunately, the students couldn't have their cultural day as planned on the 5th, due to the cyclone forecast; but Team Talaash pulled off and even better event on the 6th despite of all the hurdles that were thrown their way. Truly management students in very sense.

Dino Morea woed the crowd with his charming looks and dashing personality, he interacted with the contingent leaders of different colleges; on the other hand Divya Khosla Kumar pepped up the crowd with her quirky catchy lines from her movie ‘BULBUL’. The audience was astounded by the glamourous presence of 2016 Miss India Runners Up Ms. Pankhuri Gidwani, when she took to stage to show the students what a real diva walks like. There was an array of celebrity stylists and fashion bloggers like Ami Patel, Anchal Trivedi, etc. to name a few. The students wanted to create a judging panel for the fashion show where people from different arenas of the fashion industry come together under one roof and the students get to regard their work and also get inspired from them.

Mr. India International 2017, Darasing Khurana ‘s quoted, "I remember the times when I was a student of HR College and witnessed other students practising with enthusiasm and great deal of endurance for “TALAASH” fashion show -organised by Jai Hind College , on the college terrace. Today, I have been given the opportunity to witness ‘TALAASH’ fashion show as a judge. My mind was blown by the zest and creativity of the students and the only thing I would say to them is break a leg!"

And as this beautiful journey, an escapade to the Ordinary came to an end; HR College enthralled everybody with their performances and took the Winners trophy for Talaash 2017 as the Champions
