TITLI TRAILER LAUNCH EVENT

Mumbai, 30th September 2015: Titli is an indicator of the change that Indian cinema and society have gone through in the last 20 years. It’s a film about a family, but from a new perspective,” said producer Dibakar Banerjee at the trailer launch of Titli, the second collaboration between Yash Raj Films and DBP.
The entire family of Titli, comprising newcomers Shashank Arora (Titli) and Shivani Raghuvanshi (Neelu), Ranvir Shorey (Vikram), Amit Sial (Baawla), and Lalit Behl (Daddy) were present at the trailer launch held at YRF Studios on Tuesday.
Explaining the reasons for launching a new trailer,Dibakar Banerjee said, “The first Indian trailer was a version of the trailer that played at  the Cannes and other such festivals and markets worldwide where Titli garnered rave reviews and audiences. But when we showed the full film to Indian focus groups we were taken aback by their strong reaction. They didn’t feel that the trailer represented the film correctly, which was at its core a simple and accessible story of an average Indian family struggling with everyday life -  meant for every Indian.
Said Kanu Behl, the director, "We didnt make Titli to become an international favourite and win eight international awards to begin with. It just happened. The film was for the audience that really understands the deep nuances of our story - the Indian audience. That’s why we decided to cut a new trailer for them.” 
“Going by the positive response we have received so far, I feel we did the right thing” Dibakar adds. The trailer, within an hour of being launched online, has started trending on twitter and has gotten upwards of 15000 views with great positive reactions. 
On being asked to elaborate on the tagline of the film, ‘Har family, family nahi hoti”, the debutant director, Kanu Behl said, “Families can be seen from various perspectives. There can be differences and discord in a family.  Especially, Indian families are a bit peculiar in nature and dysfunctional as well. They lack the ability to communicate and resolve differences. Titli talks about that aspect of a family.”
Ranvir Shorey who plays Vikram in the film added further, “We attach a certain kind of idealism when we talk about families in India. But the core emotions  in a family have mutated. Titli portrays and also raises questions about them.” “If we look at the films made by studios like YRF and Dharma Production, for decades they have shown the families which are idealistic and based on the values of  ‘it’s all about loving your family’. It is for the first time that another side of an Indian family, the patriarchal set up, is being depicted onscreen” he claimed.
Talking about what drew him to the film, Ranvir said, “Titli is one of the finest scripts I have read in the recent years and I have always been hungry for such films.” He added to an amused audience, “I have seen a certain amount of violence travelling from family to family and generation to generation. My brothers hit me because my father hit them. My father hit them because my grandfather used to beat him.” This dark, often unexpected humour is depicted well in the trailer.
Titli was a personal tale for the director Kanu Behl who also co-wrote the film with Sharat Katariya. “The story of ‘Titli’ stemmed out of the relationship I share with my father but it definitely is not cathartic” said the debutant director. When asked if it helped him resolve the issues with his dad, Lalit Behl who also plays Titli’s father in the film, “It didn’t really resolve my issues with my dad but at the end of the film my relationship with him eased out for sure.”
In response to his son’s comment, the renowned theatre actor Lalit Behl playing the part of Papa, the patriarch in Titli's family, who flew down from Delhi for launch said, “The new generation expects a lot of things from their parents but they don’t want to give anything back.” (Aaj ki generation lena jaanti hai, dena nahi jaanti). On being asked whether it was an easy decision to act in his son’s film, he quipped, “Initially, I was a bit reluctant do the film, but I went ahead with it and realized that the older generation also needs to ease out a bit on the restrictions it lays down in the name of discipline”.
The aspect of Titli that resonated with him the most, Dibakar said, was “In-between the course of violent events which happen in the film we get to see a beautiful relationship developing between Titli and his wife Neelu. They start to share an understanding that they both are stuck and need to break free. This development gives the story a surprising climax where lies the real fun for me.”
Divulging on why a feminine name for a male protagonist, the director explained, “The film is about  a coming of age story of this boy who wants to break away from his family, from the clutches of the father and violent brothers. Also, the mother wanted the third child to be daughter but they had a son, yet again. Hence, a feminine name seemed perfect.”
Talking about the universal appeal of the film Dibakar said, “Any family from New Delhi to Kanpur, from Buenos Aeros to Berlin, from Nairobi to Jakarta is the same. I have personally witnessed the reactions of the audiences from the various parts of the world and I am sure that everybody will connect with the film.”
The newcomers, Shashank Arora (Titli) and Shivani Raghuvanshi (Titli’s wife Neelu) also shared their experiences. “I was about a boy from Delhi and I am from Delhi. After reading the script I realized I know nothing about the city” said Shashank. “I used to look at life as black and white. Just like Bollywood. it was only after doing the film I realized that everything falls in that grey area” added Shivani.
Talking about his dysfunctional relationship with his father Amit Sial who plays ‘Titli’s elder brother, Baawla, revealed, “My father was a shoe-businessman in Kanpur, and he resented the fact that his sons didn’t want to pursue the same profession.” Titli, which has played 30 festivals, won 8 awards and released successfully in France and Germany, is a tale of a dysfunctional family and a young boy’s struggle to escape his oppressive family. The film is releasing in India on October 30th.
Synopsis
In the badlands of Delhi's underbelly, Titli, the youngest member of a violent car-jacking brotherhood, plots a desperate bid to escape the 'family' business. His schemes are thwarted by his oppressive family, who marry him off against his will. But Titli finds an unlikely ally in his new wife, Neelu, who nurtures her own frustrated dreams. They form a strange, mutually exploitative pact to break the stranglehold of their family roots. But is escape the same as freedom?

Story Line : The  Story revolves round Kapil Sharma who has 3 identities Ram , Kishan , Shiv Kumar plus 3 wives , one must be wondering how in the world did kapil manage to have 3 wives whereas our very own popatlal from taarak Mehta ka ulta chasma  is not able to  get even one wife , well  well kapil gets his  wives accidently due to his sweet and helffull nature , each time he helps a girl from troublre those girls end up been trouble to him and he gets stuck with no choice but to marry them , atop from all that he gets all 3 wives flats in the same apartment bldg. on 4 th , 6th and 8 th floor , he has to shuffle on all  flats going round and round which has made his life miserable , but he manages to keep them away so they don't know about each other , but in all this turmoil , his actual love of his life deepika (ellli avaram) is unknown about this fact of  his life , she wants him to meet her father to seek his approval , but before that she drops kapils photo in his office which her father mistook it as photo of fiancée of one of his employee , due to this blunder he rejects kapil , but elli is adamant to marry kapil only , all the roller coaster starts when even kapil,s parents arrive  who are separated for 15 years , they are placed at different daughter in law place but eventually both parents end up meeting as in same complex and also are united together but they detect that something is wrong and they have 2 daughter in law;s , they are determined to find out the truth , will kapil be able to marry his love and what will happen to the 3 wives what will happen when truth is revealed os for you to watch ,

Summary : The movie has hilarious moments as obvious kapil comedy king is thr one cannot expect less , all totch potch about karva chauth to be with all 3 wives at one time was a challenge but kapil di manage it beautifully .

The kaam wali bai also makes us laugh to the fullest ,

Though the movie is not practical , it lacks a good screenplay and drags  many times , Arbaaz Khan has also played a deaf don which is very funny

It has hilarious dailouges .

Elli  Avaram is just a sex symbol , just  enacting item nos inspite of being a business tycoon daughter which is utter nonsense

The 3 wives are ok as per their character

Ranbir and Deepika Launches Trailer of the Movie Tamasha

The trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s next, the Ranbir Kapoor – Deepika Padukone starrer, Tamasha was launched amidst huge fanfare today.
 
Ranbir – Deepika were welcomed at the event with love and a lot of excitement by the huge number of fans of the duo who kept cheering all throughout.
 
Accompanying them were the backbones of the project; director Imtiaz Ali and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
 
The long wait to watch the duo on the big screen was finally over when the trailer was played.
 
It is after over 2 years that the duo was seen sharing screen space.
 
The trailer received immense appreciation and positive response from those present at the event.
 
The entire team even had a brief interaction with the people about their experiences on working in the film and the fun they had while shooting it.

COLORS and T-Series join hands for “Suron Ke Rang – Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar

Mumbai, 21st September, 2015: Music can build relationships and bring the entire world together. And the one entity which has managed just that is, undoubtedly, T-Series. Recognizing their contribution to the world of Indian music, COLORS has joined hands with the music giant to put together a tribute concert celebrating the illustrious life and works of the man behind the establishment called Suron Ke Rang - Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar. The concert is the first property developed under COLORS’ Suron Ke Rang – COLORS Ke Sang musical property and will bring together over 30 musical stalwarts and more than 60 popular and unique compositions across three decades. Sonu Nigam, Mika, Shaan, Meet Brothers, Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Tulsi Kumar, Arman Malik and guest host Ayushmann Khurrana were present to announce the details of the concert, conceptualized and produced by Kickstart Entertainment, which will be held on 22nd September, 2015 and will air on COLORS later this year.

While the opening act will be a high energy performance by Sonu Nigam, the acts that follow will pay respects to every genre of music that the brand has launched and commercialized. Other acts include a devotional act by Anuradha Paudwal and Anup Jalota, a remix-based performance by Mika Singh, and a music director’s ballad which brings together a combination of composers and singers like Raju Singh and Akriti Kakkar, Mithoon and Tulsi Kumar, Meet Brothers, and Armaan Malik. Some shining performances which will leave music-lovers asking for more will include a performance celebrating the works of Pritam along with Nakash Aziz, Ash King, Aditi Singh Sharma and Antra, a special performance by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a very personal dedication by Gulshan Kumar’s daughter Tulsi Kumar (composed by Jeet Ganguly and written by Manoj Muntashir), foot-tapping songs presented by Himesh Reshammiya, and an extravagant tribute by Mithoon. PLOT : Welcome back is the sequel to Welcome of 2007 , director Anees Bazmee returns with welcome back with same Uday Bhai (Nana patekar ) , Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor) , And the Harrased Samdhi (Paresh Rawal ) , Now this time the Sharif Bhais Uday And Majnu who now own a seven star deluxe hotel in Dubai are yet again for a look out for a sharif damaad for yet another  younger step sister of Uday Bhai , Ranjana (Shruti Hasan ) , in parallel to that they both yet bachelors fall in love with young  Princess played by Ankita Sharma who arrives with her mother Dimple Kapadia queen of some state , but both are frauds coming from prison in search of new wealthy bakra to steal money , Dimple tells ankita her so called daughter to seduce both Uday and Majnu Bhai but when she hears about the step sister she puts a condition that first the sister should get married then only Uday or Majnu can marry her daughter , from there onwards the roller coaster ride starts to find shareef damaad for their sister Ranjana , their search zero ins on the previous Samadhi Paresh Rawal step son Ajay /(John Abhram), who they think is a shareef but in reality he is Aju Bhai of Mumbai , the biggest don of Mumbai , unfortunately even their sister falls in love with this gunda , but Uday And Majnu are not ready for this proposal , in all this mess comes in Wanted Bhai (Naseerudin shah), with his son played by Shiney Ahuja , Shiney is in love with ranjna , and his father who is a blind millionaire don who owns a whole island and couple of choppers is ready to go to any length for his sons happiness , there onwards the whole hilarious roller coaster ride starts off with all  characters stuck together on the island owned by Wanted Bhai . There is lots of high tech action in the climax , you remember in original welcome there was this madhu makhi scene that is replaced with hi tech madhu
makhi in the form of small remote operated chopper bombs , What will happen whether ranjana and ajay will be able to marry and what will happen to other characters is for you to watch.


Verdict :
The movie has lots of hilarious moments whuch will make you laugh non stop , but the plot fails to recall the charm of Welcome , the producer has spent so many crores with use of choppers and shooting on locales of  Dubai and the Sun city , but still the script lacks charm

Nana Patekar and Anil  Kapoor plus Paresh Rawal have their same charm reflecting in this sequel too but  John Abhram looks odd men out in this game , Shruti is fine and Dimple has nothing much to do , Naseeruddin shah as wanted fails to replace feroze khan as rdx , he justs plays with guns and shouts top of his voice ,

The new comer Ankita also fails to charm

The Music is average with one song that is popular tuti bole wedding re

Its a good comedy to watch at the week end , its a once watch unless Welcome pequel which we can watch  many many times

MOVIE REVIEW OF ENLISH FILM SHE'S FUNNY THAT WAY

PLOT :
Movie starts with Izzie giving interview to a reporter, telling her life story in an open and friendly way. Story moves forward, through her account of  her life story how she wanted to work as an actress but financial compulsion forced her to work as a call girl. A married Broadway director Arnold (Owen Wilson) visits another city alone and contacts the escort service. From the photo album, he selects Izzy and after enjoying her company for many hours, he gives her thirty thousand dollars to make a new start in life and leave her sinister profession., He believes in the theory that alwys nuts are given to squirrel but he says why not squirrel gives a nuts , whats wrong in that , anyway , They meet again when Arnold is taking audition for her new play and incidentally, Izzy appears on stage for the audition. Arnold is baffled by her presence as her wife is also among the judges. Everyone likes her talent for acting but Arnold shows hesitance to give her the role because he fears his secret may be revealed. So the story move on with twists and turns, introducing more characters and abundance of smiles for the viewers. , jenifer  aniston plays the role of a therapist , she has izzie as her client , and one elderly judge who Is obsessed with izze , then jenefer's boyfriend is alo there who gets involved with izzie on the sets of the play , there are whole lots of twist n turns with Jennifer finding it difficult to keep her clients secret topping with her boyfriend disloyalty , on the other hand owen's wife comes to know about her husbands secret of meeting call girls and also paying the 30000 dollars , what  happens next is for you to watch , all this bhelpuri will give you good taste in the mouth ,

The Verdict:
This screwball comedy from renowned director, Peter Bogdanovich, who appeared on Hollywood arena after staying absent for more than a decade, is a refreshingly enjoyable story that, at times, smacks of Woody Allen’s style. The plot moves forwards at a slower pace but after Izzy’s appearance for auditioning at the stage, it gathers momentum. You will be smiling a lot while watching this movie and at the same time, there will be occasional outburst of laughter.

Grazia launches its September cover featuring Athiya Shetty

Mumbai, August 31, 2015: The September cover of India’s fastest growing style magazine Grazia, starring the lovely Athiya Shetty, was launched today at the Reliance Digital store at Prabhadevi.
 
Debutante Athiya Shetty who plays the lead in the film Hero that releases soon, stars on Grazia’s next issue playing the Easy Chic poster girl to the hilt.
 
 “I’ve had the most fun shooting for this cover because it involved lots of food and I had to just be myself – I was smiling, I was happy and the entire scene was an absolutely amazing experience,” said Athiya as she unveiled the cover alongside Grazia India’s editor, Mehernaaz Dhondy.
 
When asked about her personal style statement, she said, “I’m still trying to figure out my style. I like to go casual and easy. Right now I’m obsessed with the Boho vibe. I also love my boyfriend jeans and my white keds.”
 
This being her first ever cover launch, Athiya marvelled at how much she enjoyed the entire experience. “I’ve always loved magazines. I’ve grown up collecting fashion magazines. Being on the cover itself has been so fascinating, and I have loved every bit of this process.”
