Plot  :  The story is based on true incident of 26/11 terrorist 2008 attacks on Mumbai , in which around 166 people were dead , even today after 8 years still the master mind behind the attacks are freely roaming , How the attacks were planned and who those people were is all visualised in a book named Mumbai Avengers by Hussain Zaidi , the Movie phantom is based on this book , Some part of the movie ie based on true incident and some fiction , The story revolves around Daniyal khan and Indian soldier , who unfortunately is alleged of being a loser and a traitor due to some misunderstanding so much so that his own father turns against him , Daniyal (saif ali khan ) , after the incident lives a nomadic life somewhr in extreme snow peaked area of  Kashmir , On the other hand personells of the raw agency who are the secret service agent of India , they are restlessly thinking that even after 8 years the master mind of Mumbai attacks are free , why can't India also take revenge of attacks like America took by entering Pakistan and destroying Osama bin laden ,One of the raw agent samit Mishra keeps a propasl of entering Pakistan secretly and killing the master mind in front of his bureau chief , but gttng permission for this mission from the high commission is impossible , so the chief of the bureau takes upon his shoulders the responsibility of completing this mission , but for that they wanted a person capable and strong to complete the mission , on doing lots of research they zero in on daniyal khan , who upon approach refuses to carry out the mission , but on the promise that his honour and his post in Indian Army will be given back to him , he agrees to go on this mission , on this mission he is joined by Katrina kaif who is am ex raw agent and currently arms and ammunition supplier to security agencies across the globe based in London , how daniyal along with the help of Katrina succeed in  killing the terrorist , his journey begins in London onto canand , beerut , Syria and finally in Pakistan , how he plans and kill those people , does he succeed in completing his mission and whether he gets back his honour is all worth watching ,


Saif Ali Khan has given a terrific performance , also Katrina is good , the direction  by Kabir Khan is good , but the strory loses its grip and speed in the 2nd half of the movie , first part is action packed but 2nd half half is dull , The locations are fantastic and cinematography is excellent as we know it is Kabir khan speciality read bajrangi bhaijaan , these are such locales like Syria and beerut which are difficult to access , hats off to director to shoot a movie in such locations .

The music is negligible as the movie does not reqire it as it is not a love strory , background score is good

All in all a good watch this festive weekend

We wish that such mission becomes true and India gets its justice

FINAL DAY OF INDIA LUXURY STYLE WEEK WITH AKSHAY KUMAR

WHAT :Day 5: Akshay Kumar rocks the final day of ILSW in a Ramesh Dembla creation!

Day 5 commenced with Sumit Dasgupta, the connoisseur of ethnic fashion. Known for the use of Indian craft and textile in his work, each garment of his  was collection crafted as a piece of art with utmost precision. The ILSW collection consisted of the use of fabrics like silk, chiffon, georgette, and brocade with techniques like Zari, Ari, Tie and Dye, Gota and Zardozi infusing this collection with traditionalism and an underlying layer of modernity. 

The second show of day 5 was by Aasif Merchant, a legend in the field of design. Merchant has been in the industry for 22 years and has supplied to leading fashion houses in Italy. His collection at ILSW was all about sharp cuts and a minimalistic approach to his garments was evident. Crisp suits, bold prints, blues and whites in this collection made it ideal for the discerning man who likes to stand out with subtlety. The showstopper for Aasif's was popular TV actor Vijay Singh.

The third show was that of Varoin Marwah of Dubai. Bollywood heartthrob Rajkumar Rao looked dapper on the ramp as he walked for U.A.E's most famous designer, Varoin Marwah who showcased his latest collection ‘Amala.'
Amala means hope in Arabic and through this collection Varoin took into consideration the cause of the visually challenged. The purpose was to increase awareness and provide hope, education and care to the visually defied and thus this entire collection was his ode to those children. The collection aims to increase awareness for this cause and to offer courage for innocent lives who are eventually going to be the bright future of our country. Since the collection was a winter festive line, fabrics like textured jacquards and suitings have been incorporated. Varoin Marwah's design aesthetic exudes an extreme international appeal yet always remains passionately Indian. His collection epitomized simplicity, yet on closer look reveales his obsessive attention to detail. 

The next show was that of Ken Ferns which took beachwear to another level. The models sashayed on the ramp with printed backpacks, shorts in bright hues and luxurious beachwear. The highlight was the fact that each and every model danced their way through the show making it highly entertaining for the audience. Ken Ferns is a name that needs no introduction and is synonymous with Bollywood and Television styling. Ferns collection at ILSW was all about geomotric prints, and the clothes transported one to the becahes of Goa as the stage was set with a deckchair!

The Finale was what everyone has been waiting for the last 5 days and the wait was worth it! Ramesh Dembla, the brains behind the concept of ILSW, a one of its kind, never been done before men's fashion week, showcased his collection "Krishna Dembla," named after his son. "Brothers" by bond, Ramesh had the dapper and suave Akshay Kumar as his special surprise act had the audience in a screaming frenzy. The finale started with models showcasing Ramesh's classic kurtas, jackets, suits in soothing blues, greys, whites and striking blacks. There was then a mesmerizing Laser dance performance by Illuminati from Mumbai that wowed the Bangalore crowd. The act then continued with a suprise singing performace which had Akshay Kumar lying on the floor with a mike singing his famous song, "Mujh Me Tu." The audience was in awe and could not stop cheering! Akshay then walked the ramp with Ramesh and even did a running sequence on the ramp with all the models!

All in all, a great finale to India's first Men's Fashion Week and kudos to Ramesh Dembla and his team!
 

INDIA LUXURY STYLE WEEK - BANGLORE

WHAT : India's first men's Fashion Week, ILSW-Bangalore continues on with breathtaking shows and India's most talented designers!

WHEN : DAY 3 : 14th August,2015

WHERE : Moevenpick Hotel & Spa, Bangalore

Day Four of ILSW commenced with Hyderabad based designer, Sagar Tenali's edgy show based on colours and craft for elite men and women. The designer who has showcased Pan India and won accolades for his work, breaks free from convention and presented "Concoction by Sagar Tenali" at ILSW Day Four. Inspired by the fabrics of Benares, Tenali's attempt was to revive Indian Handloom Textiles with his ILSW collection and sure he did! Benarasi fabrics fused with Persian motifs in the form of kurtas, sherwanis, suits and jackets and the icing on the cake was that every model wore an embossed "topi!" Showstoppers Suraj Gawda and Rupal Tyagi carries his collection effortlessly. 

The show them went on to showcase Chennai based designer, Chaitanya Rao whose creations reflect a flair for pattern and have been sported by stars like Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The play on textures was evident with leather, biker jackets, use of silver and the theatrics were taken up a notch with a bare chested masked model displaying the creations!

The next show was none other than Rohit Kamra hailing from Jaipur. Kamra has been consistently churning out a new collection every season since the past 10 years. His fresh and innovative style is inspired by the modern Maharaja. Kamra believes in the wonders of yesteryears with a hint of youthfulness. The retro look is for the discerning Indian man looking for style and its modern luxury at its best. The surprise package who carried this off with aplomb was Madhur Bhandarkar who clearly knows how to not only direct movies like "Fashion" but also walk the ramp like a model!

The next show was a mesmerizing one by Vivek Karunakaran, a Chennai based design genius! His clean and minimal designs have put him on the fashion radar and the label VK signifies understated glamour. The Autumn Festive collection has been especially curated with Kalamkari textiles and his show consisted of a video on the art of Kalamkari that was clearly the highlight on a day like Independence day, as every member was touched by the use of this ancient Indian art form. The video said that the art of Kalamkari is one with the river, sand and sun and is there since the time of Lord Krishna due to the force of these three elements of nature. The talented artists help keep this art alive by drawing myths of Gods and Goddesses using a sharp tint brush giving the name "Kalam" to the art and "Kari" stands for the artisian who painstakingly, with the help of nature, creates these artworks on fabric. The colours in the work of Kalamkari are extracted by Vegetables, Fruits and natural sources only. The work comes alive with hues like pinks, yellows, blues, that are applied in the art and the final colour is brought out by dying the fabric on the river bed post soaking it in clear waters. Hence, the river, sun, sand are the major factors in this timeless art form. Karunakaran using layered silhouttes, surface texturing by plating and gathering and dyeing, in order to spread Indian Heritage and artforms across the world without any boundaries! The Showstopper was none other than organiser of ILSW, Ramesh Dembla! 

The finale show of the evening was RS by Rocky StarRS by the Rocky Star Label stands for luxury, and is known for its luxurious and tasteful design sensibility. Designed and styled by Rocky Star, his new prêt collection raised the cool quotient in every boy’s wardrobe. From cool printed T-shirts, to warm sweatshirts  this new collection had it all. Funky styles in a variety of colour had the audience amazed at Rocky's talent.

The Plot : Brothers  as the name reveals is the story of the brothers who both and their father are street fighters , Akshay Kumar( David ) and Siddarth Malhotra (monty ) are half brothers , their father Jacky Shroff being common , Jackie is an alcoholic who accidently kills his wife Played by Shefali Shah , David (akshay) , blames his father for his mothers death , and thereby hates him .
Jackie serves his term in jail , but after he is released when he goes to meet david he is still faced by davids hatred , but monty (siddarth) supports his fater , creating tension and hatred between the 2 brothers , David is married to jacquline fernandes (jenny ) , they hv a child who is suffering from kiney failure , akshay is a  physics teacher at a school but the  salary is not enough to near medical expenses , he decides to quit school and go back to fighting as it is now legalised sport as mix martial art and an international tournament is announced byBusiness tycoon , who brings international fighters to play in India along with Indian Fighter , david decides to join the tournament for the price of rs 2 crores , Monty on the other hand joins and trains himself  by his father , only for the reason to take revenge and grudges against his brother , after competing with international boxers across the world , both brothers are face to face in the ring to fight against each other , leavind Jackie in the knot of emotional bonding of both his sons , what happens in the climax is for you to watch , it is fight of emotions and bonding between 2 brothers physically and mentally

Who will be the winner ? will david be able to forgive his father  Will monty and david be united as brothers is for you to watch

The screenplay of the movie is lacking entertainment and humour , as the first half of the movie is too dragging and emotional and too lengthy , though it is very well directed movie but because of the screenplay the first half of the movie fails to make you sit and watch movie , but all the action is in the second half of the movie , the fight sequences are very good , both akshay who is an Martial Art Master as we all know but Siddarth Malhotra has also  played a fabulous act as a fighter ,

He has come a long way from chocolate boy romance in Student of the year to A  Boxer in this movie depicting real hatred for his brother . in the movie , very well acted the role .

Jaquline as  david's wife is prfect

Jackie Shroff is a classic actor  playing Role to perfection .

The Music by Ajay Atul is not so great not even an item no by kareena helps the music to uplift .

Its a once watch specially for fight sequences by akhshay and siddarth ,

My verdict is 3*/ 5*

The Plot : If you think that the movie is all about freedom movement you are wrong .
The story is based on real life story of a freedom fighter Gour Hari Das , in the movie played by Vinay Pathak , Gour Hari at a young age of 15 years , had joined gandhiji movement for freedom ,  freedom of India from the british , during that he also went to jail in Orissa , but even after 60 years of independence he did not get recognition and certificate , his son seeking for scholarship to study in U.S.A . HE is denied schorlarship as he is not having any certificate proving that his father is freedom fighter , frustrated he blames his father that whether he really was a  freedom fighter or they are just stories as all people around him also have same opinion , Gour Hari still is adamant that he will certainely one day  he will achieve success, For many years he tries to get recognition certificate from govt offices , from office to office and various people , fortunately one day that file of application and letter come in contact with a journalist of mid day , he wanted to print this story but the editor tells him that first the proof is needed  to say whether he is a freedom fighter or no , from thr journey starts the journalist is played by ranvir shorey , he helps gour hari  to get his certificate of recognition and honour ,  going from chief minister and home minister , and facing hurdles , till that te=hey travel to even Orissa jail to  get records , there also they did not get any records , but somehow in the jailors grandfather who  was a jailor at the time when gour hari was in imprisonment , in his personal  records they succeed in finding a dairy , which had a record , gour hari movement had reached the media and all persons , with all this pressure and on the basis of dairy , Gour Hari Das gets sanctioned honour certificate and pension , after many many years of wait and making of whole freedom file .

The story hits that the indian system needs to be rectified , after 68 years of freedom from British Raj now India needs freedom from Corruption which is at all levels of Indian Govt , It is because of corruption that Gour Hari Das had to struggle for honour certificate , his file never reached top level remaining ar low level only in govt officers hierarchy,

Many of the freedom fighters are still awaiting honour certificates and many lost hope too ,

India has to fight with enemy which is their own people who are corrupted .
 A new movement has to be taken place to eradicate corruption and free india once again which will be a real freedom

Vinay Pathak has played his role to the perfection , ranvir shorey was brilliant as a journalist .

The movie is very well directed , it is a true festival movie ,

Though it is not a commercial movie , but its a much watch for all people who is a true Indian

SynopsisA big fat “Shaandaar” Indian wedding, which is actually a business merger between two of the biggest business families of India, is happening at an exotic castle in Europe. Mrs. Kamla Arora, the grandmother of the Arora family, the sole owner of the billion-dollar business and the property, has planned their wedding. Kamla Arora is a bitch, treats everyone like her servants including her three sons, Bipin (the eldest), Vipul and Vinay. Mr.Fandwani, the groom’s father is a loud Sindhi businessman who is the counter to Kamla Arora: The Fandwanis dress in gold, accessorise in gold and if possible they drink and eat gold.

 
Based against the backdrop of the Shaandaar wedding, is a love triangle between (our protagonists) Aliya and Jagjinder Joginder and Bipin (Aliya’sfather). Bipin believes there’s no guy that will be good enough for his daughter while Aliya is a dreamer but her dreams are whacked out and Jagjinder Joginder is a doer, he can make anything happen! …And for obvious reasons Bipin hates Jagjinder Joginder.

The Romantic comedy is themed around 'Destination Wedding' and Shahid-Alia suffering from insomnia just adds to the curiosity factor around the film.
