Review Of Movie Dishoom

Overview :  John and Varun buddy cop movie , in which you will fall in love with chocolate boy Varun .

Story Line  : The story begins with India and Sri Lanka Cricket Match semi final match in middle east , the hero of the match is Viraj Sharma (Saqib Saleem ) , who wins the match and makes India reach to the final against Pakistan . But in the next moment Viraj is abducted by Bagga who is a big  bookie . Only 2 days are left for the final match . Indian Ministry sends a special task force officer Kabir Shergill (John Abraham ) , to work on this case . He arrives in Middle East and he picks up an Indian –Arab goofy police officer  Junaid Ansari (Varun Dhawan) ,as his co agent to work on the case . Both of them team up and in this journey to hunt for clues they meet Ishika (Jacqueline ) , who is a pick pocketer . She becomes an important link  in finding clues to the kidnapper . From there on the roller coaster  chase starts . Would  Kabir and Junaid be able to rescue Viraj from his  kidnapper  , in time for the final match between India and Pakistan . Its for the audience to watch .

Performance : John is totally wasted in the movie apart from some action scenes in which he  rocks . Most of the time he is busy smoking with a stern face .  Thank God for his hot body otherwise he has no work in the movie .

 Varun Dhawan is the show stealer with his chocalaty looks and cool body . Girls Beware his looks and his hilarious moments are intoxicating . . Varun has played a chirpy guy full of life . He will certainely grab your attention from beginning till end with his comic dialogues and his confidence .

Jacquline as Ishika hardly has any role to play apart from some funny dialogues and her sexy appeal in her song sau tarah ke  mahes up for her acting

Akshay Khanna in a negative role is rocking . He has performed very well as a baddy .

Saqib Saleem as Viraj has acted well depicting patriotism to his fullest for his country

Akhshay Kumar has a special appearance , you will be shocked with his role and he is totally rocking in it , kudos to him

Nargis Fakhri and Parineeti chopra have special apperances , Nargis is looking hot in her bikini role and Parineeti is rocking with a cool song in the end of the movie , she is flaunting her new slim figure .

Rohit Dhawan has directed the movie well but the 2^nd part of the movie is slow paced with unnecessary filming some scenes in interior of middle east , though first half is fast paced . The script is poor due to which the movie will  suffer . Though the youngsters will like the movie due to high tech action scenes . Rohit dhawan tried hard to make Rush Hour type buddy cop thriller but due to its clichés it hardly comes  close to it .

The chemistry between Varun and John is great but due to the script it will not have any impact .

The music is good with item no sau tarah and the title track are good and hitting the charts .

Final Words : As far as the Buddy cop thriller Dishoom partly entertaintes . Varun is the highlight of the movie watch it for him only ,   Its  a one time watch

Overview : A story about new generation moms with a twist of drama and comedy

Story Line : The story revolves around  Amy (Mila Kunis ) , who seems to have a hectic but perfect life , who married young and has two kids , a part time job and a lazy husband Mike (David  Walton ).Every day for Amy becomes a roller coaster starting from dropping kids to school , participating in their activities , rushing for job and helping kids with their projects ,  attending PTA  Meetings   In all this  she does not get any “me” time . All she craves for is a peaceful day without having to do all the exhausting things . on one such day when everything goes wrong  , and she also catches her husband having an on line affair ,  she kicks him out of her home , she totally  freaks out and hits the bar , there she meets two ladies , who are also like minded moms , Kathryn Hann as loose lipped single mom and Kristen Bell as kiki , a stay at home mom of four kids , who desperately needs to get out of her shell . All 3 of them becomes good friends and they all go and freak out in a super market after getting drunk , they do all  those things that one can only imagine .for next few days they just go partying and movies etc . ..

But all this madness , when Amy goes to school to drop her kids , she is approached by the PTA president Gweldolyn (Christina Applegate ) , tells her that there is an urgent Pta meeting which she has to attend , in which Gweldolyn announces that a bake sale is organised in which each parents have to participate , Gweldolyn is a very strict president who has rules and regulations laid upon parents and students wherein students are over worked and extra curricular activities to work on . However Amy rebels all this and takes a stand against her by deciding to run for the PTA Presidency elections , her two frinnds kiki and Kathryn helps her in this , they support her totally and helps her to win over confidence of moms of all other students .  Gweldolyn gets offended so much so that she manages to resmove Amy’s daughter from the soccer team , soccer is her favourite activity . Amy’s daughter gets totally frustrated , she and her brother they leave Amy and go to their Father Mike . Amy is left alone , but with the help of her two frinds she manages to reach for the PTA Election meet ,  In her speech she addresses the moms that its ok to be bad moms , as no one is perfect and life is imperfect , as long as they love their kids and they love them back , we need to change the scenario where the kids are over burdened with studies and extra activities that are pushed upon them and the parents .  What happens next will Amy be able to bring in change and win the elections is for the audience to watch .

Performances : Mila Kunis as Amy has done a good job , there are many hilarious moments played by her , Kathryn also has done a good job with her hilarious one liners . Kristen Bell as Kiki has good performance especially when she out of the blue lashes out on her husband .Christina as Gweldolyn is very good .

It’s a very well  directed movie . The movie is fast paced with not a dull moment , there are many scenes that will make you laugh through out . The movie connects with the audience as many of us in this modern world faces all this , We women are over burdened with responsibilities and we forget about ourselves , the kids are  also over stuffed with activities . All this needs to be changed .Its a rat race going on which needs to be relaxed that what the moral of this movie is , its ok if we are termed as bad moms as long as the kids are loved and they equally loves you .

Final Words : It’s a must watch for all Men , women and kids of this modern world .

Review of the Movie M Cream

Overview : Movie  of four intellectual friends , for whom life is full of just  dancing and boozing

Story Line : The story begins with a rave party happening at a farm house in the outskirts of Delhi , where Figs (Imaad Shah ) os chilling with his friends Maggie aka Meghana (Auritra Ghosh) , and Niz (Raghaav Chanana) , where he is introduced to Jayshree Ghosh (Ira Dubey ), over a spirited fun forms foundation of what lays ahead.

Figs is a confused guy , he does not know what to do with his life and is quiet a rebellious , when he comes to know that his parents are kaying down an conventional plan for him , he gives them a slip and escapes with his friends Maggie , Niz And Jayshree on a road trip , all are rebellions and they go from Delhi to dharamshala in search of a mystical  form Hash , which is a drug ,

On their way they meet  Vishnu Das (Barry John ) , who runs a shack and also conducts rave and drug party , these youngters get high on booze and drugs and party , but something happened and the friends are separated , two of them leave the trip , so now onlt Figs Ans Jayshree are left , they go further and joins a revolution volunteering a social cause , ultimately that also takes a ugly turn , so  what started as a fun trip gets diverted at many junctions which deals with several rural and urban issues and lose its meaning . What happens next is for the audience to watch .

Performances : All foursome have done a good job , Ira dubey is cute and Imaad reminds of  yound Naseeruddin Shah . Director Agneya Singh comes up with a unique film but fails to do justice , the story is going at a snail’s place and is totally bland , it does not connect at all , it has many loose ends , the script is too weak , but the cinematography is excellent , the Himalaya is shown beautyfully in its raw form . Mind Blowing nature beauty .

Final Words : Such movies don’t connect with the public and they are best suited for festival screening only .

Review of the Movie Madaari

Director : Nishikant Kamath

Cast : Irrfan Khan , Jimmy Sheirgill, Tushar Dalvi

Overview : The title of the movie is very apt , how a madaari controls animals to present a good show , same way in this movie Irrfan Khan is Madaari who manages to bring the corrupt political leaders down on their knees .

Story Line : Nirmal Kumar (Irrfan Khan ) is a simple common man who has a family consisting of wife and a son , but due to some reasons his wife has left him , so he is a single parent to his child , working hard to make his ends meet . One unfortunate day an incident occurred and he loseshis only son , his son was succumed to a bridge collapsed while enroute to his school , the collapsed of the bridge was due to corrupt and negligent political leaders . Irrrfan as a common man approaches the political leader for help but everyone turns a blind eye , Irrfan is frustrated for many months  even trying to commit suicide but then he decides to abduct the son of Home Minister , who is studying in Dehradun  . From there the roller coaster ride starts , between him and Home Minister and his team of investigation officers headed by Jimmy Sheirgil , Sheirgil is appointed to track down Nirmal , who escapes with Rohan son of the Home Minister in interior parts of Rajasthan and Uttaakhand . The only goal of Nirmal to kidnap rohan was to make the Home Minister realise the pain the pain and anguish of  losing your own flesh and blood . Does he succeed in getting the Home Minister to reveal the truth and corruption behind bridge collapse , is for the audience to watch . more interesting is how he does it to  watch .

Performances : Irrfan Khan is known  for his thought provoking movies . Even this time he picked a script which throws light on India’s Chronological evil corruption .Irrfan is the show stealer . His depiction of pain through his eyes is very well highlighted and it connects with the viewers .Jimmy Sheirgil  as Nachiket Verma is brilliant . Even the small boy rohan has played his role well .Director Nishikant Kamat who has given us off beat films like Mumbai Meri Jaan and action thrillers like Force and Rovcky Handsome , this time given us socio political genre .He has punched this tale of corruption as an eye opener for generations to come .

Final Word : Though Madaari is not a commercial movie but it is a must watch for all people as it is high time that we take steps to knock out corruption from our country and don’t let corrupt leader rule us .

Review Of Movie Sultan

Overview : Salman means Entertainment Entertainment and Entertainment.

Storyline: The story revolves round Sultan (Salman Khan), who is son of a farmer from small village of rewri in haryana. He is an easy go lucky guy until he meets Aarfa (Anushka Sharma). who is a wrestler and a state champion ,  but she believes that she will marry only that person for  whom she has respect .To win her heart sultan decides to take up wrestling but aarfa is not impressed and she insults him badly. That hurts Sultan badly but luckily  that turns into a stepping stone for him to take up wrestling seriously.. He puts his best efforts and is able to win many matches and win medals,  m Even aarfa also gets impressed and they get married. Sultan continues to be a successful wrestle winning gold medal at the Olympics but all this success makes him arrogant. The arrogance cost him life of his child and aarfa leaves  him. His world is shattered and he leaves wrestling too. But he has a goal to achieve but has no means to achieve it
At that moment Amit Sadh approaches him.  He runs a company MMA who promites wrestlers on big scale. He along with help from sultan's freind convinces him to start wreslting again. Sultan goes to Delhi but due his lost pyhsique he has to go through very vigorous training under Randeep Hooda but when he is in ring he is aghast by style used by foreign wrestlers he seems lost. From there onwards his journey begins to fight for his own selfrespect and also to get back  respect and love in the eyes of  aarfa. What happens ahead is for the audience to watch.

Performances: Salman Khan as Sultan has given the best performance of his career. His training and hardwork has paid off.  Anushka as Aarfa is a bomb. She has given a power packed performance. All supporting actors have acted well. The Director Ali Abbas is very focused. He has created a master piece be it editing, Screenplay and the script, Music is  good especially a good sufi song by Sukhwinder Singh  Thr are some humorous moments too.

  
Final Verdict: A must watch movie. The best eidi gift by Salman Khan to his fans

30 June, 2016, Mumbai: Comedy Premiere League (CPL), One of Shemaroo’s popular social media campaign that became the talk of the town recently got recognised by CMO Asia at an event that was graced by the presence of some of the most renowned brands. Shemaroo Entertainment won the “National Awards for Excellence in Digital & Social Media Marketing 2016” for “Best Use of Twitter”.

Hiren Gada, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment shared his thoughts on the occasion, “We are glad that our efforts have been recognised by the industry. We constantly have been working to connect with our audience on as many platforms as possible and address their need of entertainment with through innovative packaging.”

The campaign was initiated around Cricket and was named CPL - Comedy Premiere League. Shemaroo Premiere League’s 1st edition showcased clash of two Superstars – Akshay Kumar & Salman Khan. CPL is a great platform for both the fan bases to cheer and support their favorite stars. Each team had 11 players and each of the player from the team played his inning with his comical video that was uploaded on YouTube and shared on Twitter. So in all, 2 videos were uploaded each day, one from each of the two teams. All that the fans had to do was to Tweet, Retweet, Favourite and like the YouTube video to support their favourite team. The contest was held on Twitter from 14th April’16 to 24th April’16.  Every Retweet  would help participant score 4 runs and every Favourite help them earn 2 runs for their favourite stars video.  6 runs would  be counted once the video link was liked on Youtube. These 6 runs would  add up to the team’s score and not to any individual participant. Participants  scored 1 run every time they tweet using our Hashtags #AkshayKeKhiladi and #SalmanKeDabangg. The video link of the stars would be tweeted with the Hashtag of the team.

CPL not only populated more than 46,897 tweets leading to a reach of over 55,063,405 but also mentions went up by 1000% percent on Shemaroo with a total of 21,241 mentions on the handle

MUMBAI COMES ALIVE WITH THE VIVID ‘COLOURS OF NORTH EAST’

North East India comes to Mumbai to promote business and tourism with a gala display of its rich culture

Mumbai, 1^st July, 2016: With a view to promote business and tourism, the 3^rd edition of ‘Colours of North East’ – a festival to celebrate the beautiful diversity of the region, was held yesterday in Mumbai. The iconic Taj Mahal Palace played the perfect host, as the resplendent culture of North East captivated the audience with a medley of music, dance, fashion, food, handicrafts and much more.

The third edition was bigger and better than ever with support from various North Eastern States and Taj Group of Hotels. The initiative was driven by the reputed socio-cultural trust of North East, Trend MMS as a part of the North East Festival initiative. IndusInd Bank was the presenting sponsor of the event.

Colours of North East showcased a beautiful presentation of the diverse North Eastern culture. To celebrate the soulful sounds of the region, the evening featured Mangka – an artiste from Laihui, Imphal and Rida & The Musical Folks from Shillong, Meghalaya.

A dance performance by Madhurima Choudhury and team, who presented a medley dance of the tribes of North East and a performance by well-known violinist Sunita Bhuyan enthralled the audiences. A breathtaking presentation of the Cheraw dance left everyone spellbound. Performed in Mizoram, Cheraw is characterized by the use of bamboo staves which are kept in cross and horizontal forms on the ground.

The evening also saw a colorful fashion presentation by the top designers of the region - Asa Kazingmei (famous for Salman Khan’s dress in Sultan), Nabam Aka and Arita Kashyap. Delectable North Eastern cuisines were a highlight of the evening as well, especially prepared by Chef Karen Yepthomi of Dzukou Tribal Kitchen and the chefs of IORA Resort, Assam.  An exhibition displaying North Eastern handloom and handicrafts products was also showcased.

The North East region, which is abundant with natural beauty has great scope for tourism and a policy for promoting film shoots in the North East which was discussed as well. Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr. Mukul Sangma, Chief Secretaries of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura and top officials of Sikkim, Manipur were also present to attend the gala event. The evening also witnessed celebrities like director Ayan Mukherjee, singer zubin garg, anchor Siddharth Kak, singer Joi Barua, National FIl award winning sound artist Mr. Debajit Changmai and Bollywood sound designer Amrit Pritom from the film industry and some of the top industrialists of Mumbai, who were present to support the initiative.

To round off the evening, exquisite cocktails inspired by the North East, curated by Diageo Reserve Brand Ambassador Varun Sudhakar were on offer. These included The Seven Sisters, an earthy concoction of ginger & honey syrup combined with Johnnie Walker Black Label and Assam tea; The Tea Collins, peppermint tea poured over smashed Mint of the famed northeastern greenery where Citrus and Tanqueray No.10 combine, Sisters Blush, a fragrant sense of the scents of North East India, with blushing raspberry and herbaceous basil rolled together with Cîroc grape vodka; and Green Outfield, soothing elderflower crushed with the crisp flavors of fresh, cool, cucumber and swizzled with Cîroc and sparkling water.

Apart from that Bollywood Singer Zubin Garg who originates from North East and many artist in Bollywood from North East were felicited by on stage , Zubin  Garg also  sang a few lines of top song from Bollywood . The evening was a gala affair .
