Review of the Movie Fever

Overview : If you have seen earlier Rajeev’s previous movie Samrat & co , Fever seems to be on the same line  but with much more mind games .

Story Line : The story begins with Armin/Karan ( Rajeev Khandelwal) , in hospital as he  meets with an accident , resulting in his memory loss . All he knows that his name is Armin and he is from France . Once out of hospital he struggles to get his identity back but he feels very uneasy and gets these night mares and visions of a murdered woman , he feels that he has done something  against the law . As he tries to solve the jigsaw puzzle he meets Kavya (Gauhar Khan ) , who becomes his confident . Armin tries to put piece by piece together  his past .In the first half it is shown that Armin discovers that he is a contract killer and had a for costumes and scarves .He is not only  quick with his gun but also is smooth with women   , in the assignment just before his accident , he has to kill a beautiful girl   name Rhea (Gemma Atkins ) , but on the contrary he falls in love with her , and one imagines what will happen now , he does reveals his truth to Rhea but from then on the story  takes a twist in the second half the same Armin is revealed as a writer and Kavya is his wife , what is all this confusion , what is the identity of Armin who is he a contract killer or a writer and even  and what is all the mystery behind Rhea and the visuals of the dead woman Caterina Murino is for the audience to watch .

Performances : Rajeev Khandelwal has been doing mostly such dark and mysterious role , I think he needs to change  his forte .  Though he is definitely good looking and he does his role smartly , but still there is something missing in his acting

Gauhar Khan as Kavya is good though  her made up look is too strongly focused especially  his diamond studded mole above the lips which really looks bad .Caterina and Gemma are really wasted especially Caterina has very small role and Gemma looks very artificial and no stone faced .

The Director tries hard to use strong kissing scenes and beautiful and glamorous girls as USP pf the movie but he will fall flat on his stomach as the script is very weak he tries to portray  the film as a thriller with loud background score but the script leaves the audience with no thrill but only confusion .

The only plus point of the movie is it very beautiful locations  of Paris and France very mind blowing and the movie is shot on the internal loctions of Paris and France

The cinematography is very nice and even the music is soothing which is mostly in the backgroumd

Final Word : Watch it purely for its cinatography and if you are a fan of Rajeev Khandelwal
