Celebrity nutritionist and author, commonly known as the ‘Nourishment Genie’, Pooja Makhija launched her second book ‘EAT. DELETE. JUNIOR’ at the Pallazio Banquette at St,Regis Hotel, Mumbai with new parents Karan Johar and Mira Rajput Kapoor.
Published by Harper Collins, Eat Delete Junior focuses on how parents can teach their kids healthy food habits, shedding light on how a child’s palate develops, methods to keep junk food at bay and the habits needed to prevent ill-health and obesity. Woven through fables and fairytales, this book is the much-desired parenting guide that helps them emerge victorious over the ultimate child- rearing battleground - the Dinner Table.
At the launch, the newly blessed parents Karan Johar and Mira Rajput Kapoor shared their own anxieties and experiences regarding child nutrition with moderator Mandira Bedi and Pooja Makhija. This was followed by a fun face off between the celebrity parents, Karan and Mira that included blind baby food tastings and food presentation contests.
Mira Rajput shared her views on ‘Eat. Delete. Junior’ by saying, “As a new mother, child nutrition raises so many questions. It’s reassuring to have some definitive answers.”
