Hrithik Roshan Launches New Sports Collection And Boutique Of Rado

Sakshi Tanwar has begun shooting for her next stint on the small screen. Her latest venture is with EPIC Channel; the widely-acclaimed infotainment channel where she hosts a unique food show.As EPIC channel has always inimitably done, the show will celebrate the diversity of the country through its festivals, cultural nuances and traditions through food. Symposium on RERA & GST by Eminent Speakers Held In Mumbai

A session organized in the city by TREK (The Real Estate Kings) witnessed unprecedented crowds and a packed auditorium. The recently inaugurated laws affected realtors, brokers, architects, bankers, construction contractors and vendors, investors, housing finance companies, NBFC’s, etc. It also witnessed presence of chartered accountants, company secretary, real estate advocates, interior designers, real estate associations, broker associations, surveyors and wealth managers who directly or indirectly are in business with the real estate industry. Advocate Parimal K. Shroff of Parimal Shroff & Co. and Advocate Anil Harish of D.M. Harish & Company spoe about RERA whereas C.A. Ravikumar Yanamandra of Ernst & Young spoke about GST.


Advocate Shroff who practices in Constitutional, Corporate, Civil and Property Law has a large practice in property related matters. Mr. Shroff has also drafted The Maharashtra Infrastructure Development And Support Act (MIDAS) for the Government of Maharashtra and the same is in the advance stage of being introduced by the Government of Maharashtra. Speaking on the occasion he said “RERA is a fabulous initiative and it will be a win-win for all the stake-holders.”

It is a milestone for the Indian Real Estate Industry. The act is bound to forge a symbiotic relationship between the discerning home buyers and genuine real estate developers. Specialized regulation and enforcement ensures consumer protection and fraudulent activities like money trail and curbing money laundering. The bill promotes transparency and fair and ethical practices, through disclosure of project details and contractual obligations between the project and the buyer.”
 
 
Ravikumar is a Director in the Indirect Tax practice of Ernst & Young and focuses on clients in the Industrial, Infrastructure and Consumer Sector. He specializes in providing services to clients in the Real Estate, Construction, Pharma, FMCG and Manufacturing Sectors. Speaking at the occasion he said, “A simple single rate tax structure of 12% for home-buyers is a welcome move along with reduction in paper-work. GST will also help cut cash component in construction as products have to be sourced from registered vendors to get input tax credits.”

Without Prejudice:Epic Tale of a Mumbai bar dancer Reveled on aBook By Author Devasis

The book was launched in the presence of Alyque Padamsee (Theatre personality & Advertising professional),Kiran Khalap (Brand consultant, Author and advertising professional) &Varsha Kale (Women Leader & Activist) in Title Waves in Bandra, Mumbai. The session was moderated by Manasi Sontakke and she also read out from the select portions of the book.
 
A novel on the life sketch of a fictional Mumbai Bar Dancer, the book delves deep into the genesis and evolution of this genre, the dancer’s quest for life and her yearn for getting integrated in to the mainstream of the society.
 
Based against the backdrop of a Mumbai dance bar, the novel explores the life of Pallavi, a bar dancer. The book questions the premise if she exercises active control over her own body? How far does her freedom extend? What can she do when social traditions, laws of the land and above all, prejudices of individuals, bind her down; make her a slave to her own identity and turn her into a commodity to be bought and sold? How can she turn back the tidal wave of social events set loose by the origins and consequences of various social traditions? These and other questions rise in the mind of the reader who navigates the pages of the novel –Without Prejudice -  and follows the life of Pallavi, through her eyes and the eyes of the two men who play pivotal roles in her odyssey – Rajkumar and Roy.

Chefs, hoteliers, bartenders and more address hospitality students in this unique convention




It  was a memorable day in the hospitality industry, as the who's who of the industry came together to address the aspiring hospitality stars of tomorrow. The event was graced by chief guest Abhishek Verma. Ever so charming, the TV star lit the lamp and set the event off to a great start, and soon had the students jumping off their chairs in excitement. The show then featured noted baker & entreprenuer Kainaz Messman addressing the students about the importance of adding their heart to their food.

We then saw notable motivational speaker and event extraordinaire Sushma Gaikwad charge up the students with her innovative rope game. The event was taken to another level with the tricks by flair bartender Pankaj Kamble.
 
 
In a way to truly prepare the students for the times ahead, there was a cooking challenge with one representative from each college making their best dish with surprise ingredients. This contest was judged by chefs Rakhee Vaswani, Kunal Kapur & Zorawar Kalra. Kunal & Zorawar then had the students at the edge of their seats with their interesting messages & interactive Q&As.
 
 
 
 

All in all, the event, organised by Paramus Education, served a great purpose in motivating the aspiring students & hospitality stars of tomorrow.

Big Code Games launches "Azhar, the Captain ", a unique 3D Mobile Game



A Hyderabad based , leading gaming development company , Big Code Games has launched " Azhar, the Captain -Cricket Championship Game ".

Big Code Games has signed a contract with the former Cricket Captain Mohammad Azharuddin to launch a 3D Cricket mobile game that will feature him as a protagonist player., he will feature as the central player.

The game provides three formats - One Day , T20 and Test . The game applies the rules and regulations based on the mode selected . In the mobile game ,Azharuddin will be a default player in each of the format of the game , whereas 10 other players can be selected by the user . User can decide Captain , Bowlers , wicket keeper , etc . User can also select other Stadiums/Playgrounds and any extra features using In -App purchase options . The game will have a different international teams , 20 different stadiums .
