Nh 10 - Is a Dark and Intense Movie . Its a women centric movie continuing the trend going on since last year .
The story has its own set of flaws but it potrays a strong message.
STORY OUTLINE ;
The story revolves around a young educated couple who are Anushka (Meera) and Neil (Arjun) from delhi . After getting exhausted from their respective corporate jobs anushka and neil leave for a romanctic getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life to some weekend trip via the nh 10 enroute gurgoan jungles . Anushka is also forced to carry a licenced gun with herself owing to some scary incident in her life just before leaving for weekend break . once they are on nh 10 highway such incidents happen that changes their life completly .Out of the blue they get trapped in the jungle amisdt the very unfortunate incident of honour killing , the incident happens when they stop at a local dabba to freshen up , there comes darshan singh who was last seen in mary kom playing her husband ,with his fellow goons dragging his sister and her boyfreind who is from another caste , the girl pleading for help , neil tries to stop but he gets slapped by darshan , they take the girl and bf in a car , neil and anushka follows them , in the jungle , lvg anushka in the car neilgoes to just scare the haryanvi and his goons but when he reaches the spot , he sees that they hv killed the girl and her boyfriend brutally They see neil watching them now they are after him , anushka also comes in search for neil , both of them get trapped in between these rowdy . the chase starts with both of them running for life , neil gets badly hurt by darshan , anushka runs for help , but ultimately lands up at sarpanch house ,played by deepti naval who happens to be the mother of the girl who was killed by his own brother ,son of deepti , deepti callsher son and his goons to kill anushka , anushka however manages to escape from there but only to find that her husband has been killed by haryanavi , she shows courage and goes on a revenge spree killin all the culprits . Anushka has played a very strong character and overwhelmeseveryone.
MESSAGE :
the story potrays that today in moderm times too such horrific events of honour killing and caste discrimation still prevails in small villages especially north side ,
VERDICT THE e story is gripping and dark , shot in one entire night sequence minus any music or songs though such movies don"t reqire any song performance by anushka sharma is brillant and power packed .Neil bhoopalam is average performance
Its a must once watch movie
