The ‘Father of Aesthetic Dentistry’ in India, Dr. Sandesh
Mayekar celebrated his 35 Years into dental practice marking his growth not
only as a dentist but also a visionary, creating smiles wherever he goes.
The Present with Dr Mayekar
Dr Sandesh Mayekar, proudly launched the marathi translation
of his national best selling book “More than a Mouthful” Adventures of a
Dentsit”. The book in marathi is called “Eka Celebrity Dentist chi Battishi” and is for everyone who wishes to read
something a little different than the usual fictional stories. A very
entertaining yet factual read including real life incidences and concerns in
the everyday life of a dentist is portrayed here with utmost simplicity.
The Future envisioned
Dental implants have become a positive option for patients
wanting to enhance their smile. If done right, it can brighten one’s smile and
bring it to life like nothing else ever could. Dr. Mayekar , being a visionary
to provide the best to patients shared his views on the future of
Dentistry by introducing a state of the
art implant centre in Mumbai where the implantologists can do dental implants
using the best of equipment entrusted by Dr. Mayekar and at the same time take
advice from a panel of specialists to ensure that their patients receive the
best care.
The event was hosted by none other than Dr Sandesh Mayekar
along with his wife Mrs Swati Mayekar and his 2 beautiful daughters Shivani and
Saloni on the 1st of November 2017 at the Taj Lands End Bandra,
Mumbai.
The celebration started off with an introduction
of the man himself, Dr. Sandesh Mayekar with a pictographic representation of
his journey that led to his success following which was a heart whelming speech
by Shri Babasaheb Purandare. The stage was also honoured by Shri Raj Thackeray,
Shreemati Amruta Fadnavis, Shreemati Pankaja Munde, Padmashri Adv. Mr Ujjwal Nikam,
Mr. Ritesh Deshmukh and Mrs. Madhu
Chopra (Padmashri Priyanka Chopra’s mother), who expressed their experiences with Dr. Mayekar as their dentist and
friend in a hearty and witty manner that made the audience applaud and laugh at
the same time. The book launch was officially inaugurated by Shri Babasaheb
Purandare along with the honorary in a cake cutting ceremony
. The event was also graced by a lot of celebrities especially
Mr. Irfan Pathan, Mr. Tushar Kapoor, Ms. Sonali Kulkarni, Mr. Anu Mallik, Mr.
Raj Kumar Rao, Mr. Kunal Kapoor, Mr. Satish Manshinde, Mr. Vijay Patil and many
others. Lastly, Mrs Swati Mayekar stole the show with a wonderful vote of
thanks addressing each and every one present and surprised the guests with some
creative takeaways. The Guests then dispersed for a gala dinner thereon.

Years into dentistry and Launch of his book was thus a huge success in every
way as the event not only brought together politicians, Bollywood celebrities,
lawyers, dentists, media, businessmen, musicians under one big platform to
interact at ease with one another at the same time understand the new
technologies in dentistry what he wishes to implement in the near future.
