AKSHAY KUMAR ANNOUNCED AS FACE OF INDIA LUXURY STYLE WEEK -MENS EDITTION

When Akshay Kumar is said to be coming for an event, one can surely expect two things. One is that pandemonium will be created and the other is that the event will start right on time as scheduled! These two were most definitely the outcomes at the announcement of India's first men's fashion week, INDIA LUXURY STYLE WEEK 2015- Men's Edition organized by Ramesh Dembla! 

Akshay, who the is the most natural choice for a men's fashion week, what with his effortlessly stylish sense of dressing and that chiseled to perfection physique said some interesting words at the launch but more on that below. 

The event commenced with participating menswear designers (from all over India) displaying a sneak preview of their collection and then Madhurima Tuli took the stage to be the perfect emcee and say some charming words about ILSW and her favorite co-star. She said that, "Akshay, with his Greek god body and athletic appeal, can carry off virtually any ensemble under the sun, be it a sharp 3 piece suit or a sweatshirt and hoodie! Therefore, its only natural for Mr. Kumar to be the face of a fashion week that focuses exclusively on men's luxury fashion wear. The India Luxury Style Week will take place in Bangalore from 12th-16th August and with Akshay as the brand ambassador, one can only image how sizzling the week will be! A big round of applause for the man behind the genius idea of ILSW, Mr. Ramesh Dembla!" 

Akshay then walked the ramp for ace designer Ramesh Dembla who is also his very close friend for the past 26 years. The man looked his sharpest best in a powder blue suit with a stick engraved with a skull! His walk was met with thunderous applause and we did hear a few ladies swoon at his salt and pepper beard, amazing swag and infectious smile! Akshay then went on to call the man of the hour, Mr. Ramesh Dembla onstage and addressed media questions wherein he stated that, "There are 52 weeks in a year and now finally there will be one full week dedicated to men's fashion from Aug12-16 in Bangalore called ILSW! After all, women should not have all the fun of fashion weeks right?" He spoke about his strong friendship with Ramesh Dembla and said that, "Ramesh's father had financed my first film Saugandh and we go back 26 years and I have great respect for his work. He asked me to do this and so here I am." Their banter was visible when Ramesh said that, "Earlier for my fashion shows, which I have been doing since 9-10 years, I would use men as props till the women were ready, but its now time for men's fashion to take centre stage and this will happen with ILSW." At this point, Akshay cheekily chimed in saying, "I would not mind being your prop Ramesh!" Akshay also addressed a media question on wife Twinkle in an interesting fashion. When asked as to what Twinkle thinks of his style of dressing he said that she does not think anything, in fact what is her opinion becomes his opinion by default so he dare not argue! 

Krishka and Sunil Lulla were all smiles and proud of Ramesh Dembla (Krishka's brother). Also present were Anu Malik with daughter Anmol Malik, badman Gulshan Grover, Neil Nitin Mukesh, participating designers Manoviraj Khosla and Rocky S who were heard receiving praises for their collections, Smita Thackeray, Urvashi Rautela, Zarine Khan, and more!

REVIEW OF THE MOVIE KAGAZ KE FOOLS

KAGAZ KE FOOLS :

Story line ;  The story kicks of with Saurabh Shukla and Mugdha godse (Nikki) , the brother sister duo , search operation to find Vinay Pathak (Purshottam), nikis non career oriented but honest husband who is a writer by profession and who does not believe in compromising withhis writings due to which he is nnot much sucessful , this also leads to daily rifts between nikki and purshottam , Niki wantts her husband to be ambitious and successful one day in between all this rift , purshottam storms out of the house , landing up at a gambling den , whr he  wins lots of money and also meets a  call girl who takes him to her so called apartment , where she tries to seduce him but purshottam is totally dedicated to niki he does not get intimated on the contrary he becomes freinds with her and gives her money whatever he has won to solve her personal problems , on the other hand nikki with the support of family  tries to find purshottam and comes to know that he is caught by the police with a prostitute , she is shocked but does not go to police station to help him , somehow purshottan and rubina they get rescued , after that purshottam spends few days with rubina only and helps rubina by winning in gambling and gives money to her enough for her solving her problem,  purshottam then wants to go back to his wife but is kidnapped by the gambling hotelowner , he wants his money back which purshottam had win , on the other hand rubina wanted to do smthng good for purshotam , she publishes the novel  written by purshottam , changing the contents and title to make it chatpata , which becomes a intstant hit overnight in the meanwhile purshotam somehow manages to escape from the kidnapper , he reaches home and tells niki evrthng , nikki gives him the news that his novel has been a hit , on hearing and seeing the changed version of  his novel purshotam gets angry with nikki for been happy about all this and goes to the piblisher to ask him who had published the novel and to stop the printing , he comes to know that rubina has done all this , then the gambling owner goons again come to kidnap him amidst all this confusion the story ends on a happy note . .

Verdict : the screenplay of the movie is very weak , minus any entertainment
Performance are pathetic

MADHURI DIXIT AND TERENCE LEWIS LAUNCHES JUGNEE A 3 DAY CONTEMPARY DANCE FESTIVAL

Mumbai, 23rd April, 2015: Contemporary dance icon Terence Lewis and India’s dancing diva Madhuri Dixit Nene are coming together to support Mumbai’s first ever Contemporary Dance Festival,t Jugnee.

A five day non-profit and completely dance neutral festival will aim at becoming he most well-constructed, holistic & giving the young emerging and professional dancers a voice and platform to showcase their talent under one roof, in addition to bringing the most renowned International Faculty here to its dancers.

Talking about the festival, Terence, says: “The dance community in India and Mumbai works in isolation and are unaware of the opportunities they have for themselves! It was important to unite them for several reasons, one is to give young struggling emerging artist a platform, get international Teachers and the best teachers from India to professional dancers seeking further training and also for dancers to get acquainted to the funding bodies and getting choreographers to share their journeys!”

Talking about Madhuri’s collaboration, he adds: “Madhuri is the Icon of dance in our country and her name is synonymous with talent grace and beauty! Since its Mumbai's first indo contemporary dance festival, who better but the Mumbai girl, who gave dance respect and dignified it with her performances!”

“Besides Madhuri is also working very hard to help people across all age groups to create awareness in dance through her digital app tutorials and much more. Her app (DANCE WITH MADHURI: DWM) is one of the first apps in India on dance that has been successfully helping people to dance across the world. People, who may not have the luxury to step outside of their homes or work places, due to time, financial or social constraints.”

REVIEW OF MOVIE MARGARITA WITH A STRAW

Margarita with a straw : One of the most  powerful and award winning performance by Kalki koechlin.

Kalki  who is an Indian Punjabi girl who is born with celebral palsy  disease  , due to which she is physically disabled and could not verbally even speak properly but she is a talented  composer for a band of her college ,Her parents and freinds from college all support her and loves her Although  she has physical limitations . In her quest to  explore herself sexually , and also she has a crush on the leader of her music band , only to discover that she is not accepted sexually due to her condition ,she is heart broken , her mother played by revathy consoles and  cheers her by saying that she has been granted scholarship for further studies in New York University , On reaching New York , she meets good looking guy in college Jared , who has been appointed by the prof  to do writing part on her behalf of assignments of college , she also meets Khanum a blind girl (Sayani Gupta). who also happens to be lesbian , she supports kalki on her journey of sexual exploration , there are lots of turns that take place in kalki"s life , she even gets sexualwith jared also , thereby by learning that she happens to be bisexual , she struggles between telling the truth to her mother who is alredy suffering from cancer and also telling about hvg tint with jared to khanum.
ultimately she manages to tell them both the truth but in that process she loses both of them , mother dies and khanum goes back to new york . But still after losing so much Kalki bounces back to life with support from her father and younger brother

The movie is a very well directed by Shonali Bose , many  angles of a physically disabled person .
Kalki's performance is one of the best till date , Revathy performance is excellent who is seen driving a matador while her husband sitting nxt to her singing punjabi songs while they go to drop kalki to college , Revathy has played a totally loving and caring role of a mother .

Though its not a commercial bollywood movie but it is  good watch for some strong performance and strory line

My Verdict is 3.5*/5*

PRACHI MISHRA OF DILLIWALI ZAALIM GIRLFRIEND LAUNCHES BOOK CLINGY GIRLFRIEND

Mumbai, April 7th, 2015: Bollywood Actress and Former Miss India Prachi Mishra of DilliwaaliZaalim Girlfriend fame, unveiled the latest book ‘My Clingy Girlfriend’ by Madhuri Banerjee at Sante, Hill Road, Bandra. She is the bestselling author of five novels and also the writer of successful Bollywood film Hate Story 2 , the book brings an uproariously howl-arious account of a simple Bengali boy in Mumbai who copes, mopes and hopes to find logic and reasoning with his clingy girlfriend.

While Prachi Mishra unveiled the book, those in attendance included eminent Authors like Rashmi Bansal, Amish Tripathi and Ravi Subramanian were present at the book launch.

Giving an insight into the book, Author Madhuri Banerjee explained, “My Clingy Girlfriend is a hilarious story of funny incidents which happen in the life of a young Bengali boy called Obrokranti and his extremely possessive and dominating girlfriend Radha. The book is through the eyes of a man who’s desperately caught between a dilemma of constantly placating his girlfriend and managing his job with idiot bosses.”

She further adds, “I decided to write this book because I wanted to challenge myself as an author and see if I could write like a man as well in a humour genre. I also wanted to show a mirror to society where there are insecure women who become possessive and nice men who are unable to understand women at all."

Movie Plot ; The movie revolves around Paresh Rawal who is staying in Ahmedabad a simple famliy oriented business man . who is a gujrati having wife , daughter and son.  Paresh rawalis not a religious person and then comes a situation wherein his son forces him to follow neelanand baba footsteps as his son is in love with neelananad baba's  disciple and right hand his daughter .  Amidst all this when paresh rawal's mother expired he opens his mothers bank locker which gives him a big blow that he was adopted by his mother and that he is originally born in muslim family , his whole world turns upside down , He visits the orphanage and by crook he discovers his biological fathers name , He ask his neighbour annu kapoor who is a muslim and a lawyer too , though both of them were not on good terms but annu kapoor agrees to help him find his father , he investigates and tells him that his biological father is in an old age home counting his last days . Paresh Rawal goes to the old age home but the Kazi there does not allow him to meet his father as he tells him that first he should be trained as a muslim then only he will be allowed to meet him , adain rawal seeks help from annu kapoor and  get himself disciplined as a muslim , on the other hand his son appoints a hindu pundit so that his father is disciplined as religious hindu and also takes him to neelananad baba ashram , But  Paresh rawal on the mission to see his son marry his love , but screws up evrthng and is discovered by family and neelananad baba as a muslim , on this note his family leaves him and his son 's dream of marriage is also broken , Determined Paresh sets on a mission to  get his son marry unveils by chance the fact that neelanand baba is none other but famous sikh 'Manchala ' whose music he used to relish and who had many cases of fraud and abuses etc  in front of all his disciple. evrthng in place

Verdict ; Inspite of 3  actors of national awardees  and filmfare awardees , the movie does not shine as the script is weak . Though performances are equally good by all 3  actors and there are some funny moments , and the director tries hard to present it as a comedy but fails as the movie does not entertain , music is as nill , so do not put youself in sankat to watch dharam sankat mein
