OVERVIEW :  Tamasha is the latest offering from Director Imtiaz Ali who gave us a super hit Rockstar with Ranbir Kapoor , as we all know that Imtiaz ali  gives movies with different perspective , his style of direction is always different and unique .

STORY LINE  
: The story  begins with a flashback of childhood of Ranbir Kapoor (Ved Vardhan Sahani ) , which is set up in Shimla , as child Ved always liked to listen to stories , he would bunk his school and go to listen stories from an old story teller in the forest of Shimla by paying him . Ved during course of story listening would get deeply engrossed in it and  would imagine those stories happening in his mind , the old man used to tell him stories of ramaayan , heer ranjha and many more .His fascination grew so much that he wanted to become a Story Teller , but unfortunately his father  sends him for studying engineering to Delhi , under his pressure , Ved studies and becomes engineer and joins big telecom company and settles in his routine  corporate job , meetings and presentations . He goes for a leave for a week to Cosrica , France there he meets Deepika Pudkone (Tara), who had lost her bag which had wallet and passport , phone etc , she wanted to make a phone call but no one was helping her , Ranbir seeing her plight helps her and then they become good friends , and they enjoy a lot together for a week , but they had not revealed their original names and they decide that they will not meet in India as what happens in Cosrica stays in Costirica.

After a week they both leave for India , but Tara had the desire to meet Ved , After 4 years when Tara happens to be on an assignment to Delhi , She visits a café each day where she had an idea that Ved would be cmg , she was right she meets Ved and both of them started dating and go around , but Tara realises that something was different about Ved , One dayVed plans to propose marriage to Tara alongwith some friends , Tara is shocked , she refuses to marry Ved and tells him that he is not the same person who she had met at Corsica , who was full of life , and a great story teller  the one in front of her was common mediocre corporate guy . Listening this Ved takes that very hard upon himself and starts behaving in an erotic way , and runs away . Tara seemed to have rubbed his wrong side and all his desires which he had locked up in his heart to be a story teller have opened up . He is fired from job due to his erotic behaviour and he goes to Shimla to find his answers .

PERFORMANCES: Both Ranbir and Deepika have performed well and both of their Chemistry always works . Direction by Imtiaz Ali is Excellent .
Photography is excellent and Locales of Costarica are excellent and scenic that you gets lost in its beauty ,
Music is good by A.R.Rehman.

VERDICT: The Movie Reminds us about Legendary Actor Raj Kapoor and his master piece Mera Naam Joker .

The movie has a moral that in todays time especially in metro cities all the people they have become like robots and running the rat race , and in all this what one actually want to do cannot do due to practicalites of life .in the process to meet the ends desires of the heart gets lost .

Its a good watch , with topping of Ranbir and Deepika Chemistry
