23rd December, Mumbai: Liva Protégé 2015, a pan India designer hunt for recognizing India’s future stars in the field of fashion, takes pride in announcing that after covering over 12 cities, top 50 fashion institutes and touching more than a hundred students across India, it reached the final leg of the journey – the Grand Finale showcased the work of its Top 12 finalists on 23rd December, 2015 in Mumbai.

The annual, pan-India hunt for the brightest fashion designers in India, was open to final year students of select colleges. The competition gives them chance to showcase their talent and get mentored by some of the biggest names in the industry.

The finalists belonged to India’s top fashion schools, namely, NIFT, Pearl, BD Somani, NID and Raffles. The shortlisted designers represented a range of unique styles and talents with each of them having their own masterpieces that were showcased yesterday. 

The finalists showcased their collections through a fashion show to an elite panel of judges which includes Actor  Soha Ali Khan, leading Fashion Designer Narendra Kumar, eminent fashion photographer Prasad Naik, Editor of India edition of Cosmopolitan magazine Nandini Bhalla and Founder and Chairperson of Svantantra Micro Finance Ms Ananyashree Birla. Designers Shruti Sancheti and Manoviraj Khosla were also present as they were mentors to 2 of the finalists. Also present was the elegant Mrs. Rajashree Birla with her svelte and stunning daughter in law, Mrs. Neerja Birla. Cutting for a frame worthy family photo, the three generation ladies of the Birla family were all smiles. 

The second runner up was Ms. Sagarika Joshi from Bangalore, the 1st runner up was Mr. Nitin Gupta from Ahmedabad and the winner was Mr. Riturana Deori from Ahmedabad. The winners were selected based on aesthetics, design, fluidity and functionality of creations. The fashion presentation was choreographed by Shy Kalra.

Wave Cinemas to present Zubaan. Releasing March 4.

 
 
Raju Chadha led Wave Cinemas will release Mozez Singh's debut feature film "Zubaan" on 4th March 2016.

The musical is produced by Guneet Monga and Shaan Vyas of Sikhya Entertainment (makers of The Lunchbox and Masaan) & Metamozez Entertainment. 

Zubaan stars Vicky Kaushal and Sarah-Jane Dias in the lead roles. Vicky, one of the best debuts this year in the critically acclaimed Masaan, will also be seen in Anurag Kashyap and Aanand L Rai's next projects. Sarah was greatly appreciated in her last outing, the recently released and critically-acclaimed Angry Indian Goddesses.

Zubaan won accolades when it opened Asia's biggest film festival, the Busan International Film Festival held earlier this year with director Mozez Singh bagging the Rising Director award. It recently also played to an overwhelming response amongst the Indian communities of Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver.

Wave Group Chairman Raju Chadha and filmmaker & CEO Wave Cinemas Rahul Mittra were impressed by Zubaan's unique and fresh approach to mainstream filmmaking and feel that it is going to be a significant film for Bollywood.


Says director Mozez Singh, “I’m glad that my debut film Zubaan has been praised by one and all at several prestigious film festivals it has been screened. For me, it’s a passion project and I eagerly look forward to showcase the movie on 4th March 2016.

Bhushan Kumar's T-Series is on board as the music label and is projecting it to be the musical album of next year.

REVIEW OF THE MOVIE DILWALE

Overview : Rohit Shetty and team continue to entertain ! , Th wow factor of the movie is SRK-Kajol hitting screen together , Their Chemistry even today works on screen . Ofcourse there is the cars tumbling factors that are Rohit Shetty signature style .Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon also looks fresh couple  onscreen .

 
Storyline : The story revolves around 2 Mafia families  , operating in Bulgaria  ,, who once buddies but turned rivals , Shahrukh (Raj) , is the adopted son of Vinod Khanna one of the Mafia family and who is the Mean Machine , Raj is seen doing all sorts of stunts as signature of Rohit Shetty , tumbling cars and action sequences , Raj does all the collection for his father , By chance he meets Meera (Kajol ) , he falls in love with her instantly and she manages to transform him from mean machine to die hard romanctic , and softie and they  go on date all rosy rosy  but unfortunately fate does not let them meet and they are separated , their kahani is left adhuri ...

Fifteen years later they again meet , The adhuri kahani is rekindled , of Raj and Meera , their flashback haunts them , when their respective siblings , Veer brother of Raj and Ishita sister of Kajol the fall in love with each other as they now stay in same town.

Raj after leaving mafia business is now a car re-model and garage guy where as Meera owns a shack in Goa . (Yeah little far fetched from Bulgaria to Goa ).

Veer and Ishita are unknown about Raj and Meera love story , what will happen next , will Raj and Meera get over their past for their siblings ? Will they rekindle their love as well is for the audience to watch .

Performances : Shahrukh khan ofcourse has has performed well , he still has it what it takes to be a King Khan , Kajol looks stunning in the movie and of course  done total justice to the film , Varun Dhawan proves that he has lots of talent , he is one star  of this generation who is perfect fit for masses and classes . Kirti Sanon has very less to perform .

Music of the film is average except for one song gerua which is a big hit .

The movie showcase some of the best locations of Iceland and it has been picture
ised beautifully .

Movie do have some funny moments too ,  its plot is weaved  very well .

Ofcourse the highlight of the movie is the SRL- Kajol onscreen chemistry which today also is as fresh as cucumber and some moments do remind you of DDLJ charm and steal your heart away.

Verdict : All in all a very entertaining movie , though nothing new in the story . Watch it for entertainment only and SRK-Kajol wow  factor which freshens your memory of DDLJ .

    Story Line : The story revolves around young peshwa of the Maratha Kingdom Bajirao (Ranveer Singh)who is a great warrior , He is married to Kashibai (Priyanka Chopra) , who is his strength , and due to this strength he wins as many as 40 battles against the Mughal Kings and wins all and  achives Maratha Strengh and power over the Mughals , in between all this he is approached by Mastani , daughter of the King of Bundelkhand to help her to save   her fathers kingdom from been attacked by the Mughals , Bajirao agrees to help her and goes to bundelkhand to protect it from the enemy , which he obviously wins , He not only wins the battle but also heart of Mastani , who falls deeply and intensely in love with him . From there begins their love story , Mastani leaves her kingdom and comes behind Bajirao to Pune ,  but she is not accepted by the  Peshwa's as she belongs to Muslim community and also as she is  not a legal wife , as Bajirao was already married with a child too, anyway but   Bajirao is determined to not leave her infact marry her . When Kashibai comes to know about this , obviously she is not happy about this but slowly realises that Bajirao is deeply  in love with Mastani  and therefore she readily accepts the fact , but their relationship is not accepted by the peshwa family headed by Radha Bai (Tanvi Bai)  infact she humiliates Mastani many times , Bajirao is determined and  gives Mastani a whole wing in Shaniwarwada , She stays there and  even conceives child of Bajirao , but  the child is not accepted by the Mother of Bajirao  and the Peshwa's which hurts Bajirao a lot , so much so  that he is ready to step down from the crown of the Peshwa , but is forced to go on the battle as the Maratha Kingdom was suddenly attacked by the Mughals , while he goes to the battlefield , Mastani and her son are taken in custody by Radha Bhai , what happens next is for the audience to watch , what will happen to the love story of Bajirao and Mastani and of Kashibai .

    Performances : Brilliant Performance by Ranveer Singh as Bajirao , his best performance of  his career , The battle scenes are perfectly played by him , his immense training of horse riding , swinging sword training has paid off , infact he has managed to achieve the Maratha accent too. . Deepika as Mastani steals your heart away with good battle scenes and stunts done by her , even  amidst battle and blood she looks fabulous , Priyanka as Kashibai is mind blowing , her performance and dialogues are to die for , her small but powerful role will leave you in awe . Tanvi as Bajirao's mother is excellent , everyone else has performed well as per their role , that's the work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali who manages to remove best from the artist.

    The Cinematography is brilliant , the grandeur  and larger than life sets , the costumes are all royal , the replica of the Shaniwar wada leaves you mesmerised . The movie is a master piece of Art , watch it only on big screen to enjoy it .

    The Music is good especially the famous Pinga Song .The costume are so good , they are designed to perfection. The movie takes us through the royal journey of the Maratha Kingdom , Also it depicts the untold story of intense love between Bajirao And Mastani , which was somewhere unheard amongst other classic love story of Heer Ranjha , Romeo Juliet etc , this is a historical love story not to be missed ,

    Verdict : Its a must watch , that too on the big screen only ,

    DVD Launch of KabirBedi's Iconic Sandokan TV series by Anil Kapoor

    India's first international star, KabirBedi launches a Collector’s Edition DVD Box Set of his world famous TV show in India.
     
    Mumbai, 8th December 2015: The super hit international series ‘Sandokan’ starring KabirBedi in the lead role that took Europe & Latin America by storm in the late 70’s is back. The 6-hour mini-series, now dubbed in Hindi, will be released as a DVD. The DVD Boxset of the epic adventure and romance drama was launched by none other than Anil Kapoor.
